Member News: Remembering Robert “Bob” Burnett, DDS

Apr 12, 2021

Our colleague, Dr. Robert “Bob” Burnett, passed away on Feb. 2, 2021 from Covid pneumonia.  For those that knew Bob you realize we lost a good one.  For those that did not know Bob he was an excellent dentist that took pride in his work and how he treated people both inside and outside the office.  He was OCD like most dentists but then would bust out with a funny comment that would bring laughter.  He will be missed by his wife, family and his dental team.

On a personal note Bob was a very good friend.  He was the one I would call when I was having a slow month to see if it was everybody or if it was just me.  He was the one I would text “save me a seat” as I was running late to a local CE course.  He was my personal dentist and I was his personal dentist.  We went to church together for years.  I was fortunate to call him my friend for the past 20 years.  I hope everyone reading this has a “Bob” in their life to push them to be a better person.  If you do have a “Bob” make sure you call them and thank them for their support because the day may come where you can no longer do that.
